GoPro has filed the paperwork for a $100 million public offering on Nasdaq, providing some interesting figures and indicating that it plans to turn into a social media giant based on the huge video contents generated by more than 8.5 million customers around the world. The leading American supplier of action cameras nearly doubled its sales and profits last year, reaching net income of $60.6 million on revenues of $985.7 million, but the first quarter of 2014 was quieter (more in SGI Europe).
