Horny Toad will unveil its new brand name “Toad&Co” at the upcoming Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, which will take place in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Aug- 6-9. The announcement will be followed by a fully integrated omni-channel consumer launch in February 2015. The 18-year-old outdoor lifestyle apparel brand, headquartered in Santa Barbara, California, has worked with a research firm to better understand its target audience and market position. The result is a name evolution that is supposed to acknowledge the brand's heritage while allowing the company to tell a bigger story about social responsibility and environmental stewardship. The new name will be supported by the tagline “Keep Good Company.” Horny Toad said the new name has been very well received by its retail partners so far.
