In releasing its annual results, Jarden Corp. told financial analysts that Marmot performed last year in line with the accelerated growth plans that the group had set for it in the area of technical apparel, where it continues to take market share. Another highlight was the success of Coleman's “Instant Tents” and its CPX6 lighting system. Both brands are part of Jarden's Outdoor Solutions segment, whose sales grew last year by 10.1 percent to $2.77 billion, generating a 20.9 percent increase in operating profit to $276.4 million, or a ratio of about 10 percent.
