Keen, the outdoor footwear brand, has adjusted its European distribution network in the last months, as it continues to enjoy double-digit sales growth in the region. Keen ended its distribution agreement with GPG in France at the end of last year and has started looking for a new partner there. In Belgium, it switched from an agent specializing in footwear to Hike-A-Way, a Belgian company that already sells Sprayway and Vaude, effective from this week. Furthermore, Keen has ended its distribution agreements in Hungary and Romania, attributing both markets to Outdoor Concept, formerly Rockpoint, its existing Czech partner for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The former is one of the largest European markets for Keen, along with Germany, Sweden and Switzerland. Keen’s distribution in Hungary and Romania was previously handled by Overland Lifestyles, a Hungarian outdoor specialist.
