Kenny Ballard is the first president of the Boulder Outdoor Specialty Group, the new company that emerged from the reorganization of American Recreation products in December. Boulder Outdoor plans to boost collaboration among its brands, which are Kelty, Sierra Design, Ultimate Direction, Slumberjack and Wenger. Ballard was formerly the president of Kelty.
