Kirk Richardson is replacing the co-founder of Mountain Hardwear, Mike Wallenfels, in his position as president. Richardson has been in Columbia Sportswear’s footwear division for nearly a year after a stint as president of Keen Footwear and a 27-year career at Nike. Wallenfels left the company to become chief executive of Timbuk2 Designs.
