BSI, the German Sports Goods Manufacturers Association, has joined an initiative by the German government, the Bündnis für nachhaltige Textilien (“alliance for sustainable textiles”), and is encouraging its members to do the same. Adidas, Deuter, Ortovox, Puma, Vaude and, most recently, Schöffel, are among the companies that have committed to the program so far.
