Members of BVA, the German federation of fishing equipment wholesalers and manufacturers, have resolved to dissolve the organisation, after failing to agree on its future. The main reason for the decision is the dwindling number of exhibitors and visitors at its trade and consumer shows, Anspo and Anspomeile, which were the BVA's main source of financing. They were gradually converted from an annual event to a biennial one, and then cancelled last year.
