Schöffel has become a certified Authorized Economic Operator, a status granted by local customs authorities in the European Union. In line with EU regulations, the AEO-C certificate allows the apparel company to enjoy facilitated procedures through customs. The company is hopeful that this sort of privileged treatment by customs authorities may reduce delays in the supply chain and an improved cooperation with international business partners.
