The French federation of alpine clubs, FFCAM, is adopting a new logo and a new visual identity. It will launch a new website and a new video clip next summer. The federation groups 410 clubs and local committees. It manages 125 cabins and chalets. The number of members younger that 18 increased by 7.2 percent in 2013/14, contributing to a total membership of about 90,000 people. The FFCAM started 140 years ago under the name Club Alpin Français (French Alpine Club).
