The Grassroots Outdoor Alliance of the U.S. has lost its leader, Roanne Miller, who has resigned. The number of participating retailers has nearly doubled to 50 in the five years that she has run the organization. With her, the organization has raised more than $800,000 for local environmental and social projects. Miller spent 34 years in the outdoor industry, working also for companies such as Marmot and Patagonia.
