Luca Cinel has become Salewa Italia’s new marketing manager and is responsible for developing the mountain clothing brand’s communication strategy and promoting the brand on the national market. Based at Oberalp’s headquarters in Bolzano, he is also going to work for Dynafit and Silvretta, the two other brands owned by the Oberalp group. He reports to Reiner Gerstner, the group brand and marketing director. Cinel has been working since 2007 for Invicta as brand manager. Before then, from 2003 to 2007, he worked for Adidas, first in the Italian subsidiary in Monza and then in Herzogenaurach in Germany as category manager for Foot Locker Europe. Prior to Adidas, he worked for Lotto Sport Italia and for Alpinestars.
