More and more Asian companies are adopting Bluesign, the Swiss standard for sustainability and social responsibility. New partners include Future Spring, Fabricoat Industrial, Full Color, Ea Shinn, Yi Cheng Textile, all of them from Taiwan, and Thai Eastern Industry from Thailand. With Shanghai Challenge Textile, Bluesign has now its first partner which is originally from mainland China. The Bluesign certificate which Everest Textile Taiwan was granted in 2007 has been extended to the group’s companies in Shanghai and Thailand. More Asian manufacturers have agreed to a screening by Bluesign, including Han Sheng Industrial, Shuang Bang Industrial and Grandtek Asia Corp., all of them in Taiwan. HKT Hongkong Textiles agreed on a screening of one of its partner factories in mainland China.
