Mountain Hardwear has named Topher Gaylord to be its new president. He comes to the Columbia Sportswear subsidiary from VF Corporation, where the former top executive of The North Face in Europe was most recently president of 7 for All Mankind. He will oversee both Mountain Hardwear and Montrail brands. He succeeds Kirk Richardson, who was filling in as interim president and will now return to being general manager for footwear merchandising for Columbia.
