As previously reported, Arc'teryx wants to make a statement in the footwear sector, with the backing of the Amer Sports group. The Canadian brand has just unveiled its first eight models of approach and hiking shoes for men and women, developed for the spring/summer 2015 season. They feature a new concept, called “Adaptive Fit,” where the inner and outer parts of the shoes are constructed separately. The inner shoe can be taken out to be used as a comfortable lounge shoe that can be worn in a mountain hut or a tent.
