In the Spring 2021 edition of its Mine 77 sub-collection (first introduced in 2018 as the signature collection of the late company founder, Jake Burton), U.S. brand Burton presents its first camping products. Featuring a colorful butterfly all-over print, all products were made in collaboration with outdoor furniture specialist Helinox: a Chair 2 Rocker, a 2-person dome tent, a hammock, a Table One and an outdoor blanket.
From the beginning, the Mine 77 collection has been intended as a creative outlet and playground for innovation. Timi Burton, meanwhile, continues his father’s legacy with the small capsule of apparel and gear within the Burton collection.
For Helinox, this is not the first collaboration with a lifestyle brand. In 2020 alone, the Korean brand released chair versions with eight different labels, including U.S. companies Pendleton and Bass Brigade. In 2016, a merger with lifestyle and skate brand Supreme resulted in a set of table and chairs released in the U.S., U.K., France and Japan.
