Costa, an American brand of sunglasses specializing in the fishing segment, is expanding its activities in the area of branded apparel. It has hired Margaret DeWeerth as its new apparel merchandising manager, responsible for product development from design through manufacturing for its apparel line, which consists at this stage mainly of T-shirts, performance shirts, hats and retainer cords. DeWeerth previously worked for Knight Apparel and A3 Merchandise, developing clothing for the National Basketball Association (NBA) and others.
