Decathlon has launched a small range of Nordic walking shoes under its Newfeel label, which focuses on walking. The French retailer explains that the Nordic Walking shoes were designed to be flexible, with a special Flex-H concept for the outsole, while providing traction and cushioning. The company has added an integrated low gaiter to prevent gravel from getting into the shoe, and a little pocket to stow laces, to make sure they don't get stuck in twigs. Newfeel's campaign around the launch describes Nordic Walking as an ideal low-impact activity to tone the body, to lose weight and to strengthen bones, among other benefits.
