Kolon Fashion Material (KFM) of South Korea has combined its proprietary lamination technology with General Electric's eVent membranes to develop neoVENT-F, a waterproof and breathable fabric that it will use for the domestic market, while offering it to foreign outdoor brands. The company is part of Kolon International, which also markets a wide range of outdoor garments and other outdoor products for the large Korean market. GE and Kolon are also collaborating on membranes for the Korean military.
