Napapijri has announced that it is replacing down with Thermofibre insulation for autumn/winter 2015 in 99 percent of its outerwear collection. Thermofibre is an eco-friendly, anti-bacterial material made from ultra-lightweight microspheres which create a quilted texture offering insulation and temperature regulation. Thermofibre is exclusively developed and patented by VF Corp., Napapijri's parent company, and is registered as a Community Trademark (CMT) in the EU's 28 states. Thermofibre insulation is featured across the entire range of Napapijri's Aerons jackets, designed for use both on the street and in the outdoors. According to Napapijri, the launch of the Aerons jackets collection is currently driving the brand's retail sales, which are registering a 50 percent increase as compared to last year.
