Tecnofilati, the Italian yarn developer, has introduced a new range of graphene-containing yarns called Resistex. Thanks to the graphene, the yarns are said to offer high thermal and electrical conductivity, as well as greater abrasion-resistance and durability than polyamide or polyester. Resistex yarns are expected to offer sports enthusiasts an enhanced experience during physical activity, thanks to the improved performance of the fabrics, the company explained. Resistex was first presented at Ispo Munich 2020.
