Thule has been honored by iF with international design awards for the Thule Glide stroller and the Thule ProRide 598, a roof mounted bike carrier. Both were honored in the “product category.” The Thule Glide is a high performance sport stroller which comes in a lightweight, aerodynamic design. The Glide, which is part of Thule's Active with Kids series, can be used for babies between 0 and 6 months as a stroller and is recommended for running or walking on rougher terrain when the child is older and weighs less than 23kg. Children can enjoy a safe and comfortable journey with a padded seat that can be adjusted to a nearly horizontal sleeping position. A rear suspension has also been added for a smooth ride. When not in use, the Thule Glide can be folded for compact storing and transporting. The Thule ProRide 598 offers the convenient mounting of the carrier, on either side of the car roof, and the automatic positioning when the bike is loaded. A torque limiter dial ensures that the bike is properly secured by controlling the force that goes into the bike frame. The claw's extended lower jaw clasps the frame, preventing the bike from falling both during mounting and while the bike is being transported.
