We aRe SpinDye, a two-year-old company from Stockholm, exhibited for the first time at Ispo Munich last month, occupying a prime location left from the shrinking of a neighboring booth. The company claims to reach greater accuracy in rendering any of 1,095 colors on polyester through a unique pigment recipe that is applied to the fiber before it's processed into yarn. It results in less waste and lower use of water, chemicals and energy. The process has already been applied successfully in the automotive industry. It has been tested on sports apparel by KTC in China. It has been adopted by Fjällräven and Bergans, among others.
