Wild Country has recalled some batches of its Classic Rocks and Anodised Rocks. The British brand of climbing equipment, which is owned by the Italian Oberalp group, voluntarily took the step to protect consumers after one item of the Classic Rocks broke during a climb even though no injury occurred. In a prompt reaction, Wild Country tested some 17,000 items, very few of which were found to be potentially hazardous, but the company decided to recall all the items in the two ranges from the suspect batches. The products in question are only those delivered since January 2010 that bear the serial codes AG, AH, BII and JBE.
