Rainer Bommas, in charge of communication at X-Technology, has stepped down from his position at the Swiss brand for high performance socks and apparel. Bommas was with Sport + Mode, the German trade publication, for about two decades and for many years its editor-in-chief before he left this position to join X-Technology. The new manager for communication and marketing there is Stefan Taft, a former Schöffel executive who most recently served for Maier Sports. Maier, the company for ski, outdoor and bike apparel, filed for bankruptcy by the end of 2008.
