Another sporting goods company has taken action to see its merchandise sold properly through the internet by its customers. The new agreements between Schöffel and its retail clients call for strict conditions to be applied on various aspects of the relationship, including the offer of a relevant part of the supplier's collection instead of just selling lots of selected models. Other clauses of the contracts force the retailer to integrate the brand's corporate design according to Schöffel's CI guidelines on their websites. On top of this, retail clients have to agree to inform consumers correctly about general terms, payment procedures, deliveries, returns and privacy policy. The German marketer of snow sports and outdoor clothing is one of the recent examples of sporting goods companies that are imposing appropriate rules of conduct on retailers to ensure a proper presentation of both the respective brands and the offered goods.
