At the end of July, after some delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the first Greek La Sportiva monobrand store was opened in Massouri on the island of Kalymnos. The store is intended to become a landmark not only for the local climbing scene, but also for all those who visit the Greek climbing mecca every year. Partner and operator of the new store is the company Dimitriadis S.a., official distributor of the brand in Greece.
“This is a strategic location for La Sportiva, which fits perfectly into the development of the company and at the same time refers to a great tradition in the climbing world: Kalymnos is one of the most popular climbing destinations for European climbers looking for the most beautiful and challenging spots”, explains Andrea Bonetto, retail manager of La Sportiva.
Founded in 1928 by Narciso Delladio in Ziano di Fiemme in the Trentino-South Tyrol region of Italy, La Sportiva is now a 100-percent family-owned and globally operating brand. It is managed by the fourth generation of the family through Lorenzo Delladio, as chief executive and chairman, and Giulia Delladio, the strategic marketing manager.
