Last weekend, Globetrotter Ausrüstung, the big German specialty outdoor retailer, opened two climbing areas at once. The 60-square-meter specialty shop in Berlin is located right next to the retailer's Berlin flagship store and is called “Kletterland” (“climbing land”). The opening was packed with events such as the appearance of a climbing star, James Pearson. Simultaneously, a new climbing hall was opened in Hamburg. It is described as the country's most modern one. Globetrotter acts here as a cooperation partner of the operator and as its main sponsor. Under the presence of Olaf Scholz, the city's mayor, Globetrotter inaugurated the new 16-meter-high wall with a total climbing surface of about 3,500 square meters.
