LVMH is planning to reopen La Samaritaine later in 2019 or early in 2020, and according to a report by sportguide.com, several outdoor brands will be present there. La Samaritaine, a historic department store between rue de Rivoli and the river Seine, in the heart of Paris, has been closed since 2005. The North Face, Patagonia and Haglöfs should be part of the lot, sportguide.com reports, based on its sources, and possibly Arc'Teryx, Norrøna, Fjallräven and others as well. Sportguide.com adds that the plan is to gather the different outdoor brands in a dedicated 500- to 600-square-meter multi-brand space within the 70,000 square meters of the overall Samaritaine complex, which will also host a luxury hotel from next spring.
