Several types of Montbell sleeping bags being sold for the 2010-11 season will use FlowGate insulation technology from Insotect, the first time the two companies have collaborated. FlowGate will be used in the Spiral Down Hugger line of sleeping bags, which have longer than usual baffle tubes. Normally this would increase the risk of the down shifting, but FlowGate prevents this, so uniform heat distribution is maintained.
