Skins, the Australian brand of compression garments, is preparing to open a subsidiary in France at the beginning of next year. As previously reported, the company recruited Emmanuel Lorenzato in the second half of last year to steer its business in the French market, and the formal structure should be in place next January. Underlining Skins’ investment in the market, the brand has about 140 points of sale in France this year, but Lorenzato has built up a French sales team of seven people, with customer service to follow later this year and a marketing manager to start next January. Even though it is Australian, Skins has moved its head office to Switzerland and it already has subsidiaries in the U.K. and Germany, along with distribution in several other countries and a fresh co-branding and distribution agreement with Li Ning in China.
