The EOG Association for Conservation has announced that it raised €20,000 for conservation efforts at this year’s OutDoor show in Friedrichshafen. It had a fund-raising event at its own stand every day, where it asked for minimum contributions to buy products donated by members including sleeping bags, head torches, recycled T-shirts and even pages of advertising. This program raised €11,000. The other €9,000 came from members’ own initiatives, either through fund-raising efforts at their stands or from holding events. Keen Footwear contributed €2,000; CamelBak added €3,000; Source Vagabond threw in €600; Wenger raised €500; The North Face’s beer keg party added €1,000; and Jack Wolfskin contributed €2,000.
