The Lafuma group has appointed Thibaut Cornet, a veteran of Salomon, assistant general manager of Eider, the French outdoor brand that was taken over by the Lafuma group last year. Cornet, 44, worked for TaylorMade, Adidas'golf brand, before occupying several posts at Salomon from 1994 onward. He was in charge of sales in France and then of European key accounts before developing the markets of Eastern Europe. He subsequently took care of Salomon’s textile products. Then, from 2006 to 2008, Cornet led international sales of Salomon footwear.
