The Other business segment of Asics Corporation, which refers to the Haglöfs brand, managed an income of ¥197 million (€1.5m-$1.8m) for the first quarter ended March 31. The brand's sales increased by 12.6 percent to ¥2,981 million (€23.3m-$27.2m), up by 7.2 percent in constant currencies. Apparel sales moved up by 5.8 percent in constant currencies, compared with a jump of 13.3 percent for footwear and a decline of 19.9 percent for equipment.
