The Outdoor Group of Wolverine World Wide has a new president in James D. Zwiers, who has been with the company since 1998. In this position, he will be in charge of the company’s Merrell, Patagonia Footwear and Chaco businesses, while Scott Sible will focus on Merrell as president of the brand. Sible was promoted to president of the Outdoor Group in 2007, after the death of Jacques Lavertue. Zwiers will keep his responsibilities as senior vice president in charge of retailing. He was most recently in charge also of business development and other areas.
