Polygiene has signed a partnership with India-based textile manufacturer Skywalk International to treat textiles and facemasks with Polygiene ViralOff®. According to the Swedish ingredient brand, the order value is estimated between $150,000 to $200,000 per year. Skywalk has responded quickly to the need for antivirally treated facemasks, with distribution via their own e-commerce site. They will also provide cotton fabric and polyester coated fabrics, treated with ViralOff.
The group of partners producing facemasks with ViralOff is constantly increasing and in addition to Skywalk International, Royal Enfield has started making facemasks. Turkish MyMaske, H.A.D. and P.A.C. from Germany, Dutch Senscommon and Xindao as well as British P&S Healthcare and Bumpaa are also now on the list. The New Zealand Sock Company is the first to release a facemask made from a blend of merino wool, and Italian mountain sports specialist La Sportiva is selling a technical facemask, the Stratos, with ViralOff.
