Digitization in the sports business is the central topic of the Ispo Academy Scandinavia, scheduled in Stockholm on April 17 and 18. The organizers said that specialists from Sweden and other countries will provide exclusive insights into the digital prospects of the industry at the two-day event. “Digital transformation is a game changer,” the headline topic for the academy, will be central to the presentations, discussions, workshops and networking events in the Swedish capital. Swedish success stories and failed projects will be discussed on the first day, while the event will open up to international digital experts on the second day. The speakers who may be most familiar in the sports industry include Maximilian Hofbauer, the managing director of Bergzeit.de, and Robert Kindstrand from Hööks Hästsport, a leading Scandinavian retailer of equestrian products that earned multiple awards for its online service. The conference will be held at the Scandic Continental in Stockholm, in partnership with the Nordic Sport Industry Association and hosted by the Svenskt Sportforum.
