Ispo and W.L. Gore & Associates have signed up as “major sponsors” of the 2016 European Outdoor Summit (EOS), the European Outdoor Group (EOG) announced. After the three previous editions in Stockholm, Tegernsee and Sheffield, this year's EOS is organized by Afydad, the Spanish sport industry association, and it has been scheduled for the last two days of September at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Barcelona, around the theme “An Industry in Evolution.” Ispo and W.L. Gore, the company behind Gore-Tex, have supported the EOS since its inception in 2013. Mark Held, general secretary of the EOG, pointed out in a statement that the event bringing about 300 European industry executives together could not be organized without sponsors. The EOS offers five types of sponsorship.
