Outdoor Retailer announced a new online trade show format called Outdoor Retailer Online to take place with live programming, virtual educational events and networking from July 21-23 this year. In addition, the online tools of the event will be available to registered exhibitors and attendees throughout the summer.
The new online show will open with the traditional Industry Breakfast hosted by the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) on the morning of Tuesday, July 21. The three live event days will include exhibitors showcasing their collections live and on-demand, one-on-one appointments and chat sessions in brand-controlled spaces, scheduled education and conversations around current industry topics, as well as matchmaking and search tools. Outdoor Retailer also plans to host the 10th annual Outdoor Retailer Inspiration Awards on the platform on July 22.
The original, physical OR Summer Market, initially scheduled for June 23-25 in Denver, Colorado, was canceled in April due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The next shows in Denver are planned for Jan, 27-29 (OR Winter Market) and June 15-17, 2021 (OR Summer Market).
