Performance Days, the specialty show for fibers and fabrics, has decided to concentrate its efforts on Munich, where the next event will take place on May 9-10. That means that the usual other location, in the French town of Annecy, is cancelled. The organizers say that visitors, especially from overseas and from Italy, preferred Munich as the single location for the event, which takes places twice a year. Meanwhile, Performance Days has shaped its concept by basing the show on four general topics: fabric, trend, technology and sustainability. A new partner of the event is the so-called Dialog Textil-Bekleidung (DTB, “dialogue between textile and apparel”), which was originally founded by Bogner in 1985. This club comprises 185 companies from seven countries whose representatives discuss various fibers & fabrics issues in different working groups that will now be presented at Performance Days.
