The next European Outdoor Summit (EOS) will not be held in Venice as was announced at the end of September's EOS in Barcelona, but not far away. The European Outdoor Group says it will be staged next Oct. 4 and 5 at the BHR Hotel in Treviso. The city has its own airport, which is served by low-cost airlines, and is reachable within 25 minutes from Venice's airport. It's very close to the big Italian outdoor footwear industry hub of Montebelluna and Asolo, and close to the mountains. The Italian EOS will be organized in partnership with the Italian sporting goods industry association, Assosport, and the Italian Outdoor Group (IOG).
