Timberland has opened a temporary space in the heart of Milan, in Piazza XXV Aprile 9, exclusively designed for women, under the artistic direction of Saturnino Celani. The event, which will run until Oct. 21, is part of a Timberland Studio project and follows similar events in London, Amsterdam and Berlin. The brand is using the temporary space in Milan to present its new offerings from the women's collection. The agenda of events includes various workshops, live musical performances and a tattoo artist. Each evening opens with a workshop focused on different topics, including a yoga session with Giuseppe Panarello, Daniel Canzian's cooking show, tattooing by Lucille from Roots Milano, and an event on art curated by Carlo Cossignani. Victoria Cabello will be closing the four-day event with a story-telling event on Oct. 21, followed by a party. Women's footwear currently account for 25 percent of Timberland's turnover. Four models are on display in the temporary space, including the London Square boot, the Berlin Park, the Courmayeur and the iconic Yellow Boot.
