Umarex finally walks out of the business with outdoor accessories and packs for cycling after 25 years in that business. The company recently skipped the distribution of Blue Desert, the Israeli marketer of the SmarTube hydration systems, for Germany. While the name Umarex may not necessarily be well known, it is, in fact, world famous in the rifle business. Umarex is the marketer of Walter, a manufacturer of pistols that were well-known long before the James Bond motion pictures, which made Walter really famous.
