Vanbestco, the owner of the Swedish Icebug brand of ice grips for footwear, will launch a new system of footwear padding at the upcoming Swesport trade fair in 2009. The Arch Flex System is a concept invented by Ortolab, a company that has a running agreement with Vanbestco for patents on footwear products. Each pad will allow for a custom-made fit to the wearer’s foot; the pads will be available for retail in August next year.
