VF Corp. has announced that it has chosen Denver for its new global headquarters. Building renovations are scheduled to start early next year with a completion date in early 2020. The new 285,000-square-foot headquarters will be located in the Lower Downtown, or LoDo, district, Denver's oldest neighborhood and the home to some of the city's best-known shops, galleries and restaurants. The company has reportedly signed a 12-year lease for the 10-story building, which is owned by Bentall Kennedy's U.S. Core Fund. In August, the company announced its decision to co-locate its brands The North Face, Smartwool, JanSport, Eagle Creek and Altra, as well as its Global Innovation Center for Technical Fabrics and Digital Lab, in Colorado. The company's portfolio of brands also includes Timberland, Wrangler, Lee, and Vans.
