XXL ASA, the Nordic sports retailer that went public at the beginning of October, reports a 31 percent increase in total revenues to 1,416 million Norwegian kroner (€166.90m-$207.29m) in the third quarter, with 6.7 percent growth on a same-store basis and a 74 percent jump in e-commerce. Operating profit before amortization (Ebitda) improved by 35 percent on a comparable basis to NOK 176 million (€20.74m-$25.77m), but on reported basis, Ebitda increased by 26 percent to NOK 169 million (€19.92m-$24.74m). Operating revenues rose by 29 percent in October and the company is aiming for an increase of more than 28 percent for the full financial year. Four new stores are opening in the fourth quarter, and they will be followed by 8-10 stores in 2015.
