Yakima, the American supplier of car racks and other cargo systems, is to spend $20.1 million on a new headquarters at Lake Oswego, near Portland, Oregon, to cope with its strong growth. The company has boosted its staff by 21 percent so far this year and doubled its sales management team. One of the new team members is Jeff Johnson, who has been named business development director in charge of international sales, focusing on the Americas, and relations with the automotive sector.
