U.S. eyewear brand Zeal Optics celebrates its fifth annual “Buy A Zeal, Plant A Tree” campaign, applicable site-wide on zealoptics.com and throughout more than 1,000 retailers globally. In partnership with the National Forest Foundation (NFF) and 1% For The Planet, the brand will plant a tree for every sunglass, goggle and accessory lens sold globally between Nov. 16 and Dec. 31. Exclusively on Cyber Monday and Giving Tuesday, Zeal will plant ten trees with every purchase.

Since its inception, this Zeal Optics’ program has planted more than fifteen thousand trees. As a whole, the brand has seen one hundred percent growth year after year for the program, and has the goal of planting twelve thousand trees after the 2020 campaign concludes. The tree plantings sponsored by Zeal Optics’ program will be focused in three regions of the world all impacted by wildfires – the western US, western Canada and Australia, where they’re partnering with Tree Canada and Planet Ark respectively.

Zeal Optics, founded by Michael and Wink Jackson in 1996 in Moab, Utah, and bought by the Hawaiian sunglass company Maui Jim in 2010, is known for its commitment for sustainability and social outreach efforts. All of Zeal’s sunglasses are made from plant-based materials.
