Lukas Malgay has been supporting the e-tail and digital team of Swedish brand POC as online account manager Europe since March 1. For the past three and a half years, Malgay worked in sales & sales marketing for the manufacturer of cycling and snow sports backpacks, Evoc, and before that for two years at Specialized Bicycle Components. He joins the POC team with experience in managing e-tail accounts, distributors and optimizing the digital brand presence, among other things. Based at POC’s European office in Salzburg, Austria, he will be the contact person for the brand’s European online accounts and is responsible for optimizing the brand’s online presence. Malgay reports to Valerie Jauker, head of e-tail.
At the same time, Daniela Bauer was hired as event & community coordinator Europe and, as a member of the marketing team, reports directly to marketing manager Europe, Marcel Piermayr, who transferred from Boa Technology to POC’s Salzburg office in February 2020. Bauer joins the company with a bachelor’s degree in media and communications and has already gained experience as an intern and freelancer at Head, Red Bull and Rasoulution. Bauer also oversees POC’s talent development program Aspired Collective, an initiative to promote and develop talent in cycling and snow sports.
