According to the “Estudio E-Commerce 2021,” a study put out by IAB Spain and Elogia, the distinction between e-tail and physical retail has blurred this year in Spain to the point of indifference for 58 percent of the country’s consumers. This is an increase of six percentage points from last year. The share of consumers who buy exclusively from physical stores now amounts to 23 percent of the total, while those who buy exclusively online have a share of 19 percent. Moreover, 73 percent of Spanish consumers believe that the combination of physical and online shopping will be natural to them in the future.
